We have a full selection of SS flexible hose pipes in sizes ranging from 1/4″ ID to 12″ ID in 304, 321 316, and 316L. All of our products are made in accordance with BS 6501, Part-1. There is a large variety of end connections, bore sizes, and lengths available for our stainless steel hose assemblies. We are able to provide corrugated stainless steel hose assemblies that satisfy even the most exacting technical requirements.
Flexible hoses made of stainless steel annular corrugation may be provided with or without stainless steel wire braiding. Double or single wire braiding is possible. Corrugated metal hoses typically have an exterior layer of SS wire braid because an unbraided hose will typically expand axially under pressure. For high pressure applications, some clients might even select two or even three layers of braiding. The braiding is incredibly flexible and moves with the hose.
Braided metal hoses are commonly made using stainless steel 304 wires. We can also produce braids in other stainless steel grades, like SS 321 and SS 316L, upon request from customers. A minimum of 30% more pressure can be applied to an assembly when using double-braided hoses.Corrugated metal hoses can be broadly classified into two categories based on the type of corrugation utilized during manufacturing: annular or helical corrugation. An annular corrugation process is used in the production of metal hoses.
Many industries employ flexible hose pipes with SS wire braiding to transport gases and liquids under high vacuum, pressure, or temperature.
